Shrine
of the Most Blessed
Sacrament Hanceville Irondale
"I know there is
something very special here. The fruit of it, we don't
know. But everyone who comes in is very aware of the Presence of
the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. May it be so as long as
the world exists." Mother M. Angelica

- Every nun has one scheduled hour of Eucharistic
adoration each day. In addition to this, she has nightly
adoration twice a week. The term
"free time" refers to the period each day when the nuns can spend
additional time in prayer, spiritual reading, exercise, and so
on. Apart from the hour of recreation in the evenings, the nuns
spend their days in silence (except when speaking is necessary for
work).
- O Divino Niño Jesus! - Hymns
to Our Eucharistic King recorded by the Poor Clares of Perpetual
Adoration. The CD was recorded in the presence of the Most Blessed
Sacrament and is lovingly dedicated to the Divine Child Jesus, for whom
our Reverent Mother M. Angelica has such a great devotion.

In 1995, while
traveling in South America to announce the beginning of EWTN’s 24-hour
Spanish satellite programming, Mother Angelica visited the Sanctuary of
the Divine Infant Jesus in Bogotá, Colombia. As she stood
praying before the statue of the Child Jesus, He suddenly turned toward
her and spoke these words: "Build Me a
Temple, and I will help those who help you." Five years
later, the Temple and new Monastery were completed. The Nuns
moved to Hanceville on December 3, 1999, and the Temple was consecrated
on December
19, 1999. Our Lady of the Angels Monastery was
designated a Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament, offering spiritual
activities to groups of pilgrims.
